Job Overview

This role is is for a Degree Associate responsible for supporting the development and successful launch of online degree programs. Acting as the central point of communication and coordination, the Degree Associate will manage collaboration among instructors, academic officers, and learners to ensure each program runs smoothly and meets quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end development and production of impactful online courses for SkillLane.
  • Collaborate with educators, subject matter experts, and partner organizations to co-create course and learning materials that are relevant to upcoming trends.
  • Supervise and review content and presentation design to ensure alignment with educational goals and national learning standards.
  • Design course structure and write detailed content in alignment with defined learning outcomes and educational frameworks.
  • Manage production teams, including video editors, graphic designers, and art directors—to ensure content is produced to a high standard, on schedule, and within scope.
  • Provide creative and technical direction for graphics, animation and other visual components.
  • Coordinate production timelines, track project progress, and resolve issues to maintain smooth workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, especially Product Owner, Business Analyst to help develop digital solutions that improve educational experience.
  • Identify and develop partnerships that enhance content quality and reach.

Qualifications:

  • Strong professional background in the education sector, with a clear understanding of what constitutes high-quality educational deliverables in both content and presentation.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders, with extensive experience collaborating with government agencies, educational institutions, and academic experts.
  • Experience managing teams or cross-functional projects, preferably in a content or creative production environment.
  • Familiarity with the video production process (pre-production, production, post-production) is a strong plus.
  • Passion for education, technology, and creating engaging learning experiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
