About the role

This is a full-time role located in Bangkok, where you will support the Group IT Procurement Manager in managing the procurement of IT goods and services for the Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Public Company Limited (BAM). you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the company's IT procurement processes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist in the development and implementation of the IT procurement strategy, policies and procedures
  2. Manage the end-to-end procurement process for IT goods and services, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management and vendor performance monitoring
  3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their IT requirements and identify suitable suppliers
  4. Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate favourable contract terms and pricing
  5. Monitor and analyse IT spend and procurement data to identify cost savings opportunities
  6. Implement and maintain procurement systems and processes to improve efficiency
  7. Provide support and guidance to the procurement team as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT procurement or a similar procurement role, preferably within a large organisation
  2. Strong understanding of IT products and services, as well as the ability to evaluate technical specifications and requirements
  3. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
  4. Proficient in data analysis and reporting to drive informed procurement decisions
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with suppliers
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Familiarity with procurement-related regulations and compliance requirements
