About the role
Join the dynamic team at Automotive (OEM) as a Production and Maintenance Assistant Manager. In this full-time role based in Si Racha Chon Buri, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's manufacturing processes. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing production activities and coordinating maintenance efforts to optimise performance and uptime.
What you'll be doing
- Assist the Production and Maintenance Manager in planning, organising, and directing the day-to-day operations of the production and maintenance departments
- Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
- Coordinate the preventive maintenance schedule and oversee the timely completion of planned and unplanned maintenance work
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, resolve bottlenecks, and optimise workflow
- Provide training and guidance to production and maintenance personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Contribute to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for
- Degree in Engineering, Maintenance or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a production or maintenance supervisory role within the automotive industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing production and maintenance operations, including the implementation of lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in the use of production management and maintenance software
- Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
