Your Role

The Data Analyst for Sales Operations is responsible for delivering actionable insights through the analysis, visualization, and reporting of sales data. This role supports the end-to-end sales process by developing and maintaining robust reporting frameworks, ensuring data accuracy, and enabling data-driven decision-making. The analyst collaborates cross-functionally to enhance forecasting, pipeline management, and operational performance, while championing best practices in data governance and analytics.

Key responsibilities

Sales Data Reporting & Analytics

  • Design, build, and maintain standardized sales reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends.
  • Analyze sales operations data to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks, providing actionable recommendations to management.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting platforms and sources.

Forecasting & Performance Measurement

  • Support sales forecasting and pipeline analysis by integrating data from multiple sources (SAP ECC, IBP, SAC, etc.).
  • Monitor and report on sales performance against targets, highlighting variances and root causes.
  • Develop ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives and business reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to align on data definitions, reporting standards, and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering to enhance data infrastructure and automate reporting processes.

Data Governance & Process Improvement

  • Establish and enforce data quality standards, ensuring compliance with regional and local policies.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline data collection, reporting, and analytics workflows.

Who You Are

Experience:

3–6 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or sales operations analytics, preferably within a multinational or regional organization.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (Power BI).
  • Experience with SAP ECC, IBP, SAC.
  • Strong SQL or other programming skills and familiarity with data modeling concepts.
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., RPA, Python scripting) is a plus.

Analytical & Detail-Oriented:

  • Demonstrated ability to interpret complex data, manage large datasets, and deliver clear, actionable insights.

Collaborative Communicator:

  • Skilled in presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
