Responsibilities

·   Contribute to developing, maintaining and promoting the company environmental and sustainability policy, strategies and other plans or policies relating to environmental sustainability.

·   Ensuring compliance with local legal and regulation, certification and international standards (Environment Management System, ISO 14001, World Bank Standard) through regular monitoring and audits.

·   Conduct Environmental Assessment /study as required by the Project such as Supplementary IEE or COP or Carbon Credit of the project as required and communicating findings to businesses and the public and inspections and monitor environmental conditions to ensure compliance and identify potential issues. And Support data for Carbon Credit project (T-Ver, CALO, CFO) and SD Report.

·   Implement environmental controls such as dust suppression, noise mitigation, hazardous waste handling, and spill containment.

·   Develop and manage programs aimed at reducing energy and water consumption, minimizing waste, promoting recycling, and increasing the use of renewable resources.

·   Evaluate the environmental risks and potential impacts of organizational activities and projects.

·   Collect and analyze data on environmental performance, prepare sustainability reports for management and stakeholders, and monitor progress toward sustainability targets.

·   Conduct awareness training and educate employees to protect environment by proper waste disposal and follow good practices.

·    Liaising with government agencies and stakeholders to address environmental concerns.

·    Implement and manage ISO (Environment Management System) related documents and company information and conduct internal audits and manage external audits.

Qualifications

-   Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science (Environment Science/Environment Engineering)

-   Minimum 1-3 years 's experience of working experience as Environmental Officer/Engineer in manufacturing company or Power Plant or Renewable Power Plant or related.

-   Knowledge of environmental health and safety standards, environmental regulations, sustainability reporting frameworks, and data analysis is essential.

-   Experience in environmental inspections, investigations, implementing and audit environmental protection measures is often required.

-    Solid understanding of ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 9001 frameworks and their implementation.

-    The ability to analyze environmental data and prepare comprehensive sustainability reports is a key technical skill.
