Job Summary

The Sales Specialist – Japanese Speaking is responsible for managing and growing relationships with Japanese clients to drive sustainable business growth and market share for Indorama Ventures. This role focuses on key account management, new client acquisition, market intelligence, and delivering high-quality customer experience while acting as a trusted commercial partner to clients.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with Japanese clients to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth
  • Identify, research, and source new business opportunities and potential clients within assigned markets
  • Monitor, measure, and analyze key account performance metrics to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices to identify growth opportunities and competitive advantages
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and effectively, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining strong client trust
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to support commercial objectives and deliver seamless customer solutions

Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, key account management, or customer relationship roles
  • Education: MBA or other relevant professional degree
  • Language Skills: English and Japanese speaking ability is a must
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and account performance data
