Responsibilities:
1. Support and coordinate business development activities and organizational strategy
- Analyze and prepare market data, competitor insights, and business trends to support strategic planning for executives.
- Coordinate with various departments to execute business activities such as strategic meetings, negotiations, and partnership events to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare reports on risks, opportunities, and performance metrics to facilitate informed decision-making by leadership.
2. Manage and support financial and budgeting functions
- Gather and prepare financial data such as budget reports, financial statements, and accounting information to enable analysis and strategic decisions.
- Monitor and report on budget utilization, investment projects, and expenses to ensure alignment with financial plans.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to ensure data accuracy and timeliness, supporting annual budgeting processes.
3. Provide support for corporate functions and legal/document management
- Organize and maintain essential documents such as contracts, legal agreements, and corporate records in an orderly system for easy retrieval.
- Review and verify documentation before forwarding to legal or management teams, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational requirements.
- Coordinate with external agencies such as legal counsel, government agencies, or partners to facilitate smooth legal and operational processes.
4. Assist with strategy planning and project management
- Contribute to the development and tracking of short-term and long-term organizational strategies and initiatives.
- Prepare analysis reports comparing performance against strategic objectives and present data to support operational improvements.
- Coordinate and monitor progress on key strategic projects and initiatives to ensure timely execution and alignment with organizational goals.
5. Manage and support meetings, reporting, and special projects
- Prepare agendas, reports, and relevant materials for senior management and board meetings, and record minutes and follow-up actions.
- Support special projects such as strategic initiatives, data analysis, or business intelligence reports.
- Track and report on project progress, addressing issues or changes to plans as needed to ensure successful implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) as an Executive Assistant, Business Analyst, or in a similar supporting role within a corporate or strategic environment.
- Strong understanding of business development processes, financial analysis, and corporate legal documentation.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance related to corporate and financial operations is preferred.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
