About the role

The Assistant Service Manager role at OTIS Elevator Company (Thailand) Limited' is a crucial position that supports the overall operations and management of the company's elevator maintenance and repair services. As a key member of the team, you will assist in the day-to-day supervision of the service technicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and efficient elevator services to our clients. This full-time role is based in Bangkok.

What you'll be doing

  1. Assist the Service Manager in overseeing the work of the service technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols and complete assigned tasks efficiently
  2. Coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of service technicians to client sites, optimising resources and response times
  3. Provide technical support and guidance to the service technicians, helping them troubleshoot and resolve complex elevator issues
  4. Maintain detailed records of all service calls, repairs, and maintenance activities
  5. Liaise with clients to address their concerns, answer queries, and provide updates on the status of ongoing projects
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and efficiency of the service delivery
  7. Support the Service Manager in managing the overall budget and resources for the service department

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in an elevator maintenance or service role, preferably in a supervisory capacity
  2. Strong technical knowledge of elevator systems, including their components, operations, and troubleshooting
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and technicians
  4. Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address complex issues and make informed decisions
  5. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting
  6. A team-oriented mindset and the ability to motivate and lead a team of service technicians
  7. Commitment to safety protocols and a passion for providing exceptional customer service
