Creative and Video content

A Creative and Video Content Officer focuses on creating engaging and effective visual content, including videos, graphics, and other multimedia, to support marketing, communications, and branding efforts. They are responsible for developing creative concepts, managing content calendars, and ensuring content is optimized for various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Planning and developing creative concepts and executing them through various media, including video production, graphic design, and animation to post in various platforms such as marketplace, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok or other platforms
  • Video Production: Developing content for video format - shooting, editing, and producing videos for various platforms and purposes, potentially including event coverage, tutorials, and promotional materials.
  • Graphic Design: Creating visually appealing graphics, images, and other visual assets for websites, social media, and other marketing materials. (optional)
  • Content Management: Managing digital assets, organizing content calendars, and optimizing content for SEO and user engagement through all business platforms to fulfil objectives.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with marketing, communications, graphic designer, and other teams to ensure content aligns with overall brand goals and strategies.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Analyzing content performance, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting on key metrics to demonstrate the impact of content efforts. Including researching and evaluating the latest trends and tools to to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity

Skills & Qualifications

  • Creative Skills: A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to develop and execute compelling video content concepts.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.), knowledge of audio editing tools, and understanding of video output formats.
  • Storytelling: A keen eye for visual storytelling, pacing, and understanding of how to craft engaging narratives.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Time Management & Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively.

  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving: A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, communications, journalism, marketing, digital art or a related field can be beneficial

  • Experience in content creation, video editing, digital marketing or related roles is highly valued.
