About the role
Sirtec' is seeking a talented Translator to join their Engineering Department. As a Translator, you will play a crucial role in bridging communication between our engineering team and our global clients. This is a full-time position based in Sriracha, Chonburi, offering the opportunity to work for a leading engineering company in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
What you'll be doing
- Translating technical documents, manuals, and correspondence between English and Thai languages with a high degree of accuracy.
- Conduct on-site translation.
- Interpreting and conveying complex engineering concepts and terminology to ensure clear communication with international clients.
- Collaborating closely with the engineering team to understand project requirements and provide seamless translation services.
- Assisting with the localization of marketing materials, website content, and other brand-related materials.
- Proofreading and editing translated documents to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Other tasks assigned by the company.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- At least 2 years of similar work experience.
- Proficient in Chinese, English and Thai languages.
- Strong knowledge of engineering terminology and concepts, with the ability to accurately translate technical information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for proofreading and editing.
- Skilled in using office software such as Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
