Unit Finance Manager (Thailand Entity)

Reporting To: APAC Vice President – Finance / General Manager

Job Summary

The Unit Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial operations for the Thailand manufacturing entity. This role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, robust internal controls, and effective business partnering, supporting operational excellence and sustainable business growth.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements, management reports, and tax filings
  • Manage cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
  • Establish and monitor factory financial KPIs, providing insights and performance analysis

Accounting & Compliance

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including AR, AP, GL, and month-end closing
  • Ensure compliance with Thai Accounting Standards (TAS), Thai Revenue Code, and BOI regulations
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and government authorities

Business Partnering

  • Work closely with production, procurement, sales, and supply chain teams to provide financial insights
  • Support process improvements, cost optimization, and operational decision-making

Internal Audit & Risk Control

  • Establish, maintain, and continuously enhance factory internal control frameworks
  • Conduct regular internal audits to identify financial risks and implement corrective actions
  • Safeguard company assets and ensure policy adherence

Job Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 8–10 years of overall finance experience, including minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in multinational or regional organizations is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of TAS, Thai tax regulations, and statutory reporting
  • BOI audit and compliance experience is a strong advantage

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, financial management, and problem-solving capabilities

Language & Soft Skills

  • Fluent in English (working language)
  • High ownership mindset with strong accountability
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Willing to attend short-term training at headquarters in China
