Purpose of Position :


•       Ensure that all improvements are implemented in order to reduce waste, idleness and downtime.


•       Plan and control engineering, maintenance, project, safety and environmental services to site facilities in order to ensure adequate and reliable plant capacity to cover production requirements at minimum cost without compromising engineering, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Accountabilities :


•       Develop process techniques and install equipment in order to ensure high quality products and efficient cycle time.


•       Provide process lay outs that keep machinery activity in easier to work with and give the maximum productivity.


•       Monitor the performance of critical machinery to ensure efficient production and high quality product.


•       Develop and review the progress of start-up engineering activities and schedule for new products to be able to meet the agreed commitment date.


•       Define and ensure all tooling, equipment and fixtures necessary to produce new products/ change have been ordered , and set up according to committed schedule.


•       Lead and manage the required new product introduction activities to launch on time within committed budget.


•       Ensure all plant and equipment is properly maintained at lowest life cycle cost and optimum manufacturing efficiency is attained by preparing maintenance manuals, planning maintenance schedules, implementing maintenance and keeping records.


•       Design and develop plant machinery and equipment in order to improve the efficiency of production and prolong the life cycle of machinery and equipment as well as reducing the complexity of the process.


•       Plan, design and specify the future expansion of the production line and plant in relation to machinery and equipment by seeking new methods and technology.


•       Provide safety and environmental control services to the plant by coordinating with the safety committee.

Qualifications :


•       Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Machatronic, Industrial or Electrical Engineer.


•       Minimum 5 years Engineering experience in process improvement with minimum 3 years' experience in management level in multinational corporation


•       Knowledge of process improvement tools i.e. Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, Kaizen.


•       Experience with Autimation, Digitalization or IIOT projects would be an advantage


•       Good command in English.
