Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supplier Management

  2. Select, develop, and evaluate manufacturing factories in China for products such as hair dryers, hair straighteners, styling tools, and other small electrical appliances.

  3. Assess the OEM/ODM capabilities of suppliers, including their ability to develop products according to brand specifications.

  4. Visit factories and collaborate with the Quality team to audit production processes and ensure quality standards (Factory Audit, QA/QC).

  5. Costing & Negotiation

  6. Analyze product costs and pricing structures to ensure competitiveness in the market.

  7. Negotiate key purchasing terms including MOQ, pricing, payment terms, lead times, and product warranties.

  8. New Product Development

  9. Work closely with the Product Development and R&D teams to co-develop and customize new models from China based on market needs.

  10. Coordinate with factories to obtain samples, conduct product trials, and finalize BOMs for mass production.

  11. Project Management

  12. Manage timelines for sample delivery and mass production to ensure punctuality.

  13. Coordinate logistics, import documentation, and customs clearance processes.

  14. Market & Innovation Insights

  15. Monitor market trends and emerging technologies in hair tools, such as Ionic, Plasma, and Tourmaline innovations, to guide the company's product development.

  16. Attend key trade shows in China and internationally, such as Canton Fair and CBE Shanghai.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sourcing/Procurement, particularly with Small Appliances and Hair Equipment under OEM/ODM models.
  • In-depth knowledge of Chinese suppliers and established connections with reliable factories.
  • Direct experience in negotiating with Chinese manufacturers and a strong understanding of Chinese business culture.
  • Proficient in English (Chinese language skills are a strong plus).
  • Strong skills in cost analysis, project management, and work prioritization.
  • Willingness to travel to China and attend trade fairs as required.
