Job Summary:

The Trade Marketing Overseas will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and programs to drive sales growth, enhance brand awareness, and strengthen market position for Betagro's products in international markets. This role requires a strong understanding of international trade, market dynamics, consumer behavior in diverse cultures, and effective collaboration with sales teams, distributors, and partners across various countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research & Analysis:

  2. Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, competitive landscapes, and consumer insights in target overseas markets.

  3. Analyze sales data, market share, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies and identify areas for growth.
  4. Monitor political, economic, social, and technological factors impacting international trade and consumer preferences.
  5. Marketing Strategy Development & Execution:

  6. Develop and implement tailored marketing strategies and annual plans for specific international markets, aligning with overall business objectives.

  7. Collaborate with the international sales team to define target audiences, product positioning, and key messaging for each market.
  8. Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, trade shows, in-store promotions, PR, etc.).
  9. Adapt global marketing materials and campaigns to suit local cultural nuances and regulatory requirements.
  10. Brand Management & Communication:

  11. Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all international marketing activities.

  12. Develop compelling marketing collateral, presentations, and sales tools for international partners and customers.
  13. Manage relationships with external agencies (e.g., advertising, PR, market research) to execute marketing initiatives effectively.
  14. Trade Marketing & Channel Development:

  15. Design and implement trade marketing programs to support sales teams and distributors in achieving their targets.

  16. Develop promotional strategies, pricing recommendations, and merchandising guidelines for international retail and foodservice channels.
  17. Identify and evaluate new distribution channels and partners to expand market reach.
  18. Provide marketing support and training to international sales teams and distributor networks.
  19. Budget Management & Performance Measurement:

  20. Manage and track marketing budgets for assigned international markets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

  21. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  22. Provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizing future marketing efforts.
  23. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  24. Work closely with product development, R&D, supply chain, and legal teams to ensure product readiness and compliance for international markets.

  25. Foster strong relationships with international sales managers, country managers, and distributors to align marketing efforts with sales objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, International Business, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in international marketing, trade marketing, or brand management, preferably within the food, FMCG, or agro-industrial sectors.
  • International Experience: Proven track record of successfully developing and executing marketing strategies in diverse overseas markets.
  • Language Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (required).

  • Proficiency in additional languages relevant to key target markets (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Vietnamese, Arabic, Spanish) is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM software, and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media platforms).
  • Familiarity with market research tools and methodologies.
