**About the Job**

As a Senior UX/UI Design Lead (Design System), you own the global Allianz Design System for building our insurance Frontend products in a global, large scale and agile environment. In an experienced international team of design system experts, you design for the global design libraries and give design direction to the team.

**What you do**
- Drive improvement of the Allianz Design System from concept, design to documentation - ensuring quality, consistency and reuse.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional product team (demand based): gather new requirements and identifying business relevance
- Design new components, patterns and templates for the Allianz Design System based on user and business requirements and provide proper documentation for those.
- Communicate design system releases effectively
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design system and UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Contribute to the global UX Community in Allianz and be a point of contact as a design system expert.

**What you bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of seven years of professional experience in UX design, with a proven track record of successful projects.
- At least two years of professional experience in build and run of a design systems.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Strong design decision taking skills, giving design direction
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of UX/UI design and experience with complex systems.
- Strong experience working with the design software Figma and design system documentation tools.
- Knowledge in the area of Design Tokens and Figma Plugins like Tokens Studio
- Proficient in cutting-edge Frontend technologies and their impact on creating, deploying, and evaluating high-performance digital experiences.
- Experience working in agile organizations at scale and international teams strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
