**ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Operates under the supervision of the Head of Sub-Delegation.
- Assists and supports the Head of Sub-Delegation in managing the sub-delegation and implementing and follow up of related programs and activities in his/her area of responsibility with some level of autonomy, in accordance with the Sub-delegation's objectives and guidelines, ensuring a transversal response where appropriate.
- Contributes to the elaboration of the Sub-delegation's strategies and objectives and ensures the implementation, in coordination with the Movement, other humanitarian actors and relevant stakeholders
- Contributes to defining, implementing, and monitoring ICRC projects and activities (depending on the context: general management, protection, assistance, cooperation, communication or others) in coordination with the structure’s management
- Contributes to representing the ICRC and participates in internal and external meetings and develops and maintains contacts with provincials/regional authorities, local/regional Red Cross/Red Crescent Society branches, humanitarian actors and the population. Participates in field missions, and may carry out them independently, participates in the administrative follow-up of these field missions.
- Contributes to defining and implementing the sub-delegation’s security rules, in line with the overall security framework established by the delegation.
- Ensures timely and accurate internal reporting.
- Manages staff from the departments under supervision.
- Acts as Head of Sub-Delegation during the latter's absence.
- Develops and maintains a network of interlocutors with Military, Police and Provincial Authorities, Public Health, Religion Leaders, and non-State Armed groups relevant to the activities and mandate of the ICRC in order to ensure access and acceptance.
