-Job description
- Provide the highest quality, forward looking and professional Credit Analysis to WSB for the existing and new to bank clients.
- To provide a focused and independent analysis of credit risk and in-depth knowledge of markets and industry sectors.
- To identify and to screen new prospects/business opportunities, ensuring timely delivery of services, appropriate controls, and a high degree of data integrity.
- Ensure relationships with all stakeholders are strategically forward looking, highly collaborative and productively engaged towards mutual business outcomes.
- Initiate and support the implementation of credit-related streamlining initiatives ensuring timely delivery in-country and optimization of value to the business.
- Review and engage with stakeholders to formulate and deliver a best-in-class Credit Risk Management and control environment, observing group policy and procedure documents at all times
Requirements
- Strong commercial and financial management experience with strong analytical skills;
- Proven ability to prioritize competing demands
- Able to deal with and constructively resolve conflicting views and where necessary, escalate to senior management in a clear and succinct manner
- Be change oriented and able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines
- Able to understand and consolidate diverse and complex business information and identify and mitigate risk issues
- Fluent communication and written language skills

Ability to effectively engage and negotiate with senior stakeholders demonstrating proactive risk management.
