Assist the team in correlating relevant technical data (geological, seismic, reservoir, production data) and conducting reservoir geological study.
Assist/support Team Leaders and/or Geology Manager in constructing various distribution maps/ models to depict reservoir geological distributions characteristics of assigned sections / areas.
Assist in basic evaluation and/ or computation of certain technical parameters to support geological reservoir study.
Provide geological supports/ information to senior colleagues and the team, e.g. preparing geological data/ supporting information, preparing maps & geological prognosis, conducting petrophysical interpretation & stratigraphic/lithologic well correlation, etc.
Key Accountabilities (2).
Prepare well picking session, well proposal, and final well report.
Review well geological prognosis and perform onsite geological follow-up during drilling/logging operations.
Monitor well geological operations according to defined prognosis. Witness and maintain quality control of acquired data from mud logs, wireline logging, logging while drilling (LWD), etc. to comply with technical requirements.
Participate in evaluating formation being drilled, e.g. determine oil & gas show/ petroleum zone.
Report wellsite geological activities and submit daily geological reports to supervisor and stake holders (if any).
Integrate and finalise subsurface data for Post-drilled Hydrocarbon In-Place estimation presentation and report.
Assist senior colleagues on reservoir geological study and technical evaluation.
Conduct any relevant subsurface works as per request by Geology Team Leader and/or Geology Manager.
Professional Knowledge & Experiences.
**Minimum Requirements**:
Bachelor's Degree Geology or related fields.
0-3 years' experience in petroleum geology.
Good command of both written and spoken English.
**Additional Preferable Qualifications**:
Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
Good background on subsurface software and systems.
