About this position
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and progress of the company. This includes partnering with Founder / CEO in corporate strategy formulations and reality-check of the new business models, identifying and designing strategies, plans, processes, and procedures to enhance the business operational productivity. The Operations Manager will also be responsible for acquiring knowledges and best practices of other key functions from senior professionals to transform frameworks, principles, and guidelines into a lean operation system. This position requires being an intelligent self-starter with resilience and resourcefulness, and an individual contributor who works with hands-on with a can-do attitude. Responsibilities
- Align the objective with Founder / CEO; and develop work scope, timeline, and budget; involve all relevant stakeholders; and ensure technical feasibilities accordingly
- Assist Founder / CEO in corporate strategy formulations and reality-check of the new business models
- Identify, design, and/or implement strategies, plans, processes, and procedures that enhance the business operational productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency
- Perform risk management to mitigate risks that may occur in the strategies, plans, processes, and procedures.
- Acquire knowledges and best practices of other key functions from senior professionals to formulate, transform, and revise frameworks, principles, and guidelines into a lean operation system
- Convert business needs into workflow and collaborate with the Technology department to design and implement the system
- Coordinate with third parties in terms of integration
- Oversee day-to-day operations in the venture business environment and track progress
- Verify change requests of scope, timeline, and budget when necessary
- Develop a deep understanding of companys beliefs and vision, and establish policies and processes that promote professionalism according to such cultures and values
- Lead team to encourage maximum performance and dedication
- Participate in recruitment, headhunting and training of new teammates
- Evaluate and improve financial performance
- Participate in fundraising ventures, corporate alliances, corporate partnership, investment, acquisition, or any other expansion activities
- Provide solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors)
- Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends and products, and collaborate with the Compliance department to ensure alignment with all relevant laws & regulations
- Write and submit reports to CEO in all matter of importance
- Manage relationships with the partners and vendors
**Requirements**:
- A strong consultancy, project management and/or operations background with at least 5 years of experience
- Working Experience in startup environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to articulate concepts and complex ideas in a concise and impactful manner
- An intelligent self-starter with resilience and resourcefulness
- An individual contributor who works with hands-on with a can-do attitude
- Project Management, Process Improvement, Change Management or Agile Knowledge is a plus
- Excellence in organizational and issue-driven problem-solving aptitude, interpersonal, leadership skills, growth mindset, and ability to drive for results.
