Position Overview

Areas of responsibility include outlets reservations, works in close co-operation and communication with the F & B Management. Liaise with outlet managers to ensure bookings are accurately made and communicated. Assist and monitor all activities in the department.

The Role

Possess full and accurate information about all F&B outlets, promotions and special events
Provide customers with any required information related to all F&B outlets, promotions and special events
Handle bookings for all F&B outlets before the outlets are open.
Handle group inquiries and bookings for F&B outlets, prepare offers and contracts for groups
Advice and recommend food & beverage choices to customers while making offers
Handle pre-payment for F&B reservations and special events bookings if needed
Create reservations in reservation platform (Weeloy) and clearly indicate all notes and preferences of the customer. Proceed with table allocation if needed.
Co-operation with manager in liaise, planning, and strategy in term of F&B marketing plan (promotion, festive and event etc.)
Thorough understanding and knowledge about various F&B outlet's information (menu and promotion) and offerings.
Preparation of roaster and yearly vacation plans.
Manage all restaurant reservations and ensure that all agents adhere to policies, procedures, regulations and standards presented by hotel management.
Ensure all at agents have a clear expectation set to prioritize their responsibilities.

Maintaining of safe and healthy work environment for all associates.
Aware of local laws and customs while dealing with guest inquiries.
Works on achieving best possible booking maximization upselling by managing and leading day to day operations.
Ensure to maintain records, tracking and reports required for the business.
Trains, coaches and supervises newly employed colleagues or cross train colleagues.
Communicate to F&B Management every relevant information pertaining colleague's welfare or guest related issues.
Always well informed about the daily/weekly/monthly plans such as events, promotions, bookings and discounts in the outlet, VIP guest in house, dietary requirements of guests, etc.
Ensures proper coordination and monitoring the reservations for special events or F&B festive.
To ensure all group bookings have consistent follow-up, to monitor performance of individual team members and communicate all necessary details with regards to bookings, guests and colleagues to the managers.

Administration

Maintain confidentiality of all guests identity (good practice of PDPA)
Create and maintain filing systems.
Create and type office correspondence using computer.
Ensure accurate maintenance of all guests booking records and database.
