**Nice to know**
- Responsible for leading the Rx production by making sure the working environment is safe, delivering the right quality level to markets, contribute to the service expected by customers and performance (financial variance for the production part) for the company. At the same time, the Rx production manager must also manage a healthy relationship with all employees._

**My day at EssilorLuxottica**
- Scope: Surfacing, HMC-Tinting and Edging-Mounting_
- _Manage/support the daily operations_
- _Safety = make sure working environment is safe and compliant with local regulations and corporate rules; improve the working environment with the local EHS team_
- _People = ensure a healthy relationship with all employees by communicating/acting at the right level. Ensure an efficient collaboration with other departments_
- _Coordination between the 3 workshops by ensuring the production interfaces are smooths: balancing, bottleneck management, manpower, yield allocation_
- _Quality = ensure to deliver the right quality level to markets by respecting the quality standards (validation being a must) and monitoring the quality gates-tests and customer returns_
- _Service = ensure the service expected by customers by monitoring/adjusting the capacity vs load and the lead times-laminar flows_
- _Cost = monitor/improve yield with a strong focus on productivity, consumables-raw materials, energy_
- _Contribute to the midterm_
- _Budget_
- _Investment plan_
- _Staffing plan_
- _Improvements plan = quality, service and cost _

**Must have**
- _Required skill and qualifications: _
- _Master degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Quality_
- _Minimum 5 years of experience in Rx manufacturing/engineering at a management position_
- _Fluent in English (read, write, speak with ease)_
- _Strong leadership_
- _Customer focus_
- _Drive for results_
- _Data driven_
- _Able to work under pressure_
- _Preferred skill and qualifications: _
- _Autonomous in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint etc.)_
- _Lean manufacturing knowledge_
- _Experience with multi-national companies_
- _Knowledge in Ophthalmic lens products/technologies_
