**Position: Product Owner Manufacturing**
Level: Senior Department Manager
Work location: Bangkok, SM Tower Building

**Job Purpose**
- Led a team of logistic and manufacturing functional experts by providing strategic direction, sustainable design, and integration with various functionals and systems.
- Work with senior business leaders to identify and assess long-term business needs and strategies, identify opportunities, gaps, and interdependencies, and translate business needs into high-level requirements as well as assist with business case development.
- Develop technology roadmaps and solutions based on business requirements as well as company strategy that maximize business performance.
- Incorporate industry best practices and emerging technology knowledge to ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage a process for addressing, and prioritizing business technology demands, and implementation of selected solutions.

**Responsibilities**:
**Technology Strategy and Roadma**p
- Develop and maintain a roadmap of manufacturing technology initiatives that helps drive business performance
- Develop and communicate a clear technology strategy to manufacturing stakeholders
- Identify emerging technologies beneficial for manufacturing

**Requirements Definition and Prioritization**
- Collaborate with manufacturing members to gather, understand, and prioritize their requirements
- Define user stories, features, and acceptance criteria for technology projects.
- Constructively challenge business requirements that truly bring business benefits
- Maintain a well-prioritized product backlog.

**Technology Solution Delivery**
- Work closely with technology delivery teams by providing guidance and clarification during the implementation phase to ensure alignment with business needs
- Monitor project progress and remove impediments where needed
- Track the solution benefit after solution delivery

**Stakeholder Engagement**
- Engage with BU manufacturing stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges.
- Act as a liaison between manufacturing members and technology teams, ensuring common understanding and alignment.
- Communicate project updates and outcomes to stakeholders on time.

**Usability and User Experience**
- Ensure that technology solutions are aligned with manufacturing processes and are user-friendly
- Prioritize features that enhance product usability and user experience
- Gather user feedback and incorporate usability improvements into the product

**Continuous Improvement**
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within manufacturing technology.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes.
- Measure the impact of technology solutions on operational efficiency.

**Compliance and Risk Management**
- Ensure that technology solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Identify and mitigate technology-related risks in manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams.
- Strategically manage resources and a diverse portfolio of responsibilities as required.
- Lead personnel in workload management and priority setting.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Production, Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent experience. A Master’s Degree is preferred
- Certification in product management agile methodology is advantageous

**Experience**:

- 15 years of experience in product ownership in the manufacturing management area
- Demonstrated experience in managing technology projects for manufacturing
- Background in the manufacturing industry (food & non-food) with a good understanding of end-to-end manufacturing processes and related technology solutions
- 10 years of involvement in ERP implementation covering logistics, supply chain, and manufacturing operations
- Knowledge and experience in cross-functional ERP modules, preferably SAP.
- High level functional understanding of SAP capabilities in MM, PP, QM, PM, eWM modules is a plus
- Experience in Project Management and supplier engagement
- Fundamental knowledge of OT system (ISA-95 framework) is advantageous
