Position Title: Country Manager - Thailand

Department: Executive Leadership / Regional Management

Location: Bangkok, Thailand - with travel across as required

Reports To: APAC Regional Director

**Role Overview**:
The Country Manager will be responsible for P&L management, regulatory compliance, market expansion, strategic partnerships, team leadership, and revenue growth. This role requires a strong balance of strategic execution, local market knowledge, and global alignment to establish our brand as a leading Forex & Crypto trading platform.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Strategic Leadership**
- Define and execute the business strategy in line with global objectives.
- Oversee Thailand as the regional hub while expanding operations across Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Oceania.
- Drive P&L accountability, business forecasting, and revenue targets.
- Identify new market entry opportunities (regulated forex licenses, crypto exchange registrations, digital asset services).

**Business Development & Partnerships**
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with banks, payment providers, liquidity partners, brokers, crypto exchanges, fintechs, and institutional clients.
- Forge alliances with regulators, associations, and industry stakeholders to enhance market credibility.
- Drive institutional and retail client acquisition across multiple markets.

**Regulatory & Compliance Oversight**
- Ensure compliance with Thai SEC, Bank of Thailand, and relevant regulatory frameworks (MAS, ASIC, JFSA, etc.).
- Implement strong AML, KYC, and risk management protocols in line with global and local standards.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulators in Thailand and other jurisdictions.

**Operational Excellence**
- Oversee daily business operations including trading services, client onboarding, payments, and risk control.
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to adapt platforms (MT4/MT5, cTrader, crypto exchange solutions) to local user needs.
- Ensure seamless client experience with multi-lingual support, localized payment methods, and customer engagement strategies.

**Team Leadership & Culture**
- Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and compliance.
- Develop talent pipelines across sales, marketing, compliance, and operations.
- Provide leadership coaching, mentoring, and career development opportunities.

**Branding & Market Positioning**
- Position the company as a leading Forex & Crypto trading platform through thought leadership, conferences, and media presence.
- Drive localized marketing campaigns, brand building, and digital engagement strategies tailored to markets.
- Act as the regional spokesperson at high-level forums, client events, and industry panels.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Professional certifications (CFA, FRM, CAIA, FinTech/Blockchain credentials) are an advantage.

**Experience**
- 10+ years of leadership experience in forex, crypto, brokerage, fintech, or financial services.
- Strong track record of scaling businesses in Thailand, with proven P&L ownership.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-border operations and multi-market regulatory environments.
- Established relationships with regulators, financial institutions, and industry stakeholders.

**Skills & Competencies**
- Deep understanding of Forex, CFD, Crypto, DeFi, and blockchain ecosystems.
- Expertise in regulatory compliance, financial risk, and governance frameworks.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes and adapt to fast-changing market conditions.
