ROLE SUMMARY
- Maintains updated identification, mapping and segmentation of key stakeholders Ensures the inclusion of payer/customer insights in strategic planning processes
- Development and execution of portfolio Market Access plans for key Innovative products and therapeutic areas, that balance individual brand considerations with longer term portfolio and payer-relationship priorities
- Leads development of robust, credible value arguments and propositions for Pfizer products Leads external interaction with payer stakeholders in both public and private sector including stakeholder strategy, relationship management and development of innovative partnerships
- Directs payer and patient research activities to understand stakeholder requirements, for selected products/therapies, and health technology/assessment hurdles in local markets Develops, implements and maintains key measurement systems and KPIs to demonstrate impact of Market Access strategies and programs
- Establishes strong working relationships across functions, contributing ideas, strategies, team/matrix leadership in an innovative, thought provoking and collegial manner

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for understanding the healthcare environment, trends, regulatory framework, sources, and uses of resources to identify opportunities and challenges to optimize reimbursement potential at launch and over the product lifecycle.
- Development Access Strategies of Pfizer portfolio
- Reimbursement strategies Development and delivery of dossier submissions Development of Product-specific Payer Value Propositions Development of alternative market access approaches to accelerate formulary inclusions such as National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM), Rheumatic Disease Prior Authorization (RDPA), Oncology Prior Authorization (OCPA), National Immunization Programme (NIP) and increase demand
- Serve as the preferred point of contact for local Market Access colleagues, to ensure the centralization of insights, inputs and projects related to the pipeline.
- Coordinate, efficiently and collaboratively, work strategies with other areas of the company such as commercial, medical, marketing, finance, health economics, and public affairs, among others, for the development, implementation, and monitoring of initiatives aimed at increase patient access and coverage of the company's portfolio therapies.
- Play a leading role in the public access to medicines in listing into national formulary by submitting compelling dossiers to local health authorities, in line with methods and principles of HTA and other assessments relevant to country-context Generate and interpret epidemiological studies, systematic reviews, pharmacoeconomic and, Outcome Research studies (observational studies, predictive analytics, retrospective analysis, Delphi Panel methods, others), RWE, to support the development and deployment of product value strategies to ensure optimal product access and uptake.
- Based on global clinical development plan and local data needs, identify, areas for strategic local data generation and collaborates with other functions to develop options and business cases to demonstrate potential added value.
- Develop and maintain relationships with expert consultants and key stakeholders at the public and private levels.
- Identify opportunities to partner with policy advocators, policymakers, and payers in developing win-win-win solutions that benefit the patients and overall healthcare system through insights generation activities such as expert consultations, panel discussions, advisory boards and, researched-based networks.
- Manage input of access and pricing assumptions for pipeline products to ensure consistency of approach across the local business.
- Lead development and implementation of local payer and pricing research projects to inform access planning and forecast assumptions
- Provide access and reimbursement input to local and global BD evaluation.
- Collaborate with the Market Access Director, BU Leads, other cross-functional colleagues, and with Global teams to develop and share a deep understanding of the access landscape and Pfizer medicines.
- Ensures correct compliance with local regulation, corporate standards and internal company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Qualifications in pharmacy or other life sciences. Post-graduate qualifications in epidemiology, biostatistics or health economics. (prefer)
- Experience in developing access strategies for launch, across multiple therapeutic areas is desirable.
- A deep knowledge of the reimbursement system and HTA /health policies /market access/pricing technical expertise and at least five years’ experience in preparing and/or evaluating PBAC submissions or management of similar HTA and formulary submissions and market access projects internationally.
