General Manager Thailand

**GENERAL MANAGER THAILAND & VIETNAM DIRECT SALES GLOBAL COMPANY**

**Location**: Thailand or Vietnam (with travel between both markets)

**Position Overview**

This role is responsible for driving market expansion, ensuring operational excellence, supporting the distributor community, and maintaining the company’s commitment to integrity, compliance, and customer satisfaction. The GM will serve as the primary point of leadership for both countries and will collaborate closely with the global leadership team to execute Velovita’s strategic vision.

**Key Responsibilities**

Market Leadership & Growth
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to grow Velovita’s presence in Thailand and Vietnam.
- Identify market trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities to optimize performance.
- Drive sales, engagement, and retention across distributor networks.

Operational Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end daily operations, including logistics, customer service, compliance, and financial performance.
- Ensure efficient market operations while maintaining high standards of service quality.
- Work with cross-functional global teams to streamline processes and improve distributor/member experience.

Distributor & Member Support
- Build strong relationships with local leaders, top distributors, and influencer networks.
- Host trainings, events, and market activations to promote leadership growth and brand development.
- Provide hands-on support to help distributors thrive and succeed in the market.

Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure strict compliance with all local laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to maintain the highest level of integrity in all business activities.
- Proactively manage market risks and ensure smooth, transparent operations.

Team Leadership
- Recruit, lead, mentor, and develop high-performing local teams.
- Foster a culture of accountability, trust, collaboration, and excellence.
- Conduct performance evaluations and manage overall team efficiency.

Financial Management
- Manage market budgets, P&L, forecasting, and performance metrics.
- Ensure financial responsibility and efficient use of resources across both markets.
- Analyze data and KPIs to drive informed decision-making.

Brand Representation
- Act as Velovita’s senior ambassador for Thailand and Vietnam.
- Represent the company professionally at events, meetings, and industry functions.
- Uphold and promote Velovita’s core values, mission, and global standards.

**Qualifications & Requirements**

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 8-10 years of senior leadership experience, ideally in direct selling, health/wellness, consumer products, or e-commerce.
- Proven experience managing operations in Thailand or Vietnam; experience in both markets strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of growing businesses and leading teams at scale.

Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
- Deep cultural understanding of Thailand and Vietnam.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication in English; fluency in Thai and/or Vietnamese highly preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Strong financial literacy and analytical decision-making.
