Requirements:Qualifications & Skills:
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major;
- 6 years’ experience in the management operations, sales and marketing, finance and accounting, or related professional area.
- General Manager Experience’s in limited or full-service property.
**Skills**:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, project management and detail orientation skills, with the ability to multi-task in order to meet a variety of deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a can-do positive attitude.
- Responsibilities:The General Manager is to provide day to day operation support to ensure the effective running of Resort located in Koh Samui, Thailand.
- As the General Manager of the property the role will combine administration, budget management, maintaining attention to detail, and staff management, recruitment and training.
- The manager will be required to be available to guests and staff at all times, and also involve practical work.
- The role of Marketing will be paramount in the overall, Spa and Resort operation.
- The individual will have control over all graphic, visual and marketing spend against the approved budgets.
- The General Manager will be responsible for the efficient and economic operation of Resort.
- Will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the resort’s accommodation (bedrooms, bathrooms and their furnishings) and public areas.
- Financial accountability with remain with the General Manager and Head Operations.
- Functions as the primary strategic business leader of the property with responsibility for all aspects of the operation, including guest and employee satisfaction, human resources, financial performance, sales and revenue generation and delivering a return on investment to Q Lifestyle (Thailand)
- Ensures implementation of the service strategy and brand initiatives with the objective of meeting or exceeding guest expectations, increased profit and market share.
- Holds property leadership team accountable for strategy execution, and guides their individual professional development.
- The position ensures sales engines are leveraged and initiates independent and proactive sales activities, when appropriate, to generate demand.
- Ensures the objectives and goals of Q Lifestyle (Thailand) and property work together to success.
- Builds company loyalty through proactive communication, setting and managing expectations and delivering solid business results.
- Actively involved in the local community and builds strong relationships with local officials, businesses, and customers. Represents Prana Hotels & Resorts in all leadership actions.
