**About this Position**
We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee the production of LINE Original scripted and unscripted content in Thailand. This role, which reports to the Head of Content Business Marketing and Partnerships, will oversee all operational aspects of content production, from development to delivery, as well as contribute to the overall content strategy of the LINE Content Business in Thailand.
This role combines production management and strategic leadership, requiring a comprehensive view of the slate to align production decisions with LINE's goals. The Production Manager will work with the Head to create and implement consistent production strategies for seamless operations across all formats.
**Responsibilities**
Production Oversight and Budget Management
Development and Setup:
- Provide early guidance for projects in development, helping the team align production plans with business unit and operational goals
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including producer, production team, content curation, marketing, and legal, to plan productions and ensure they are in line with the goals and operational standards of LINE Content Business
Script and Budget Review:
- Review creative and script requirements to assess feasibility, identify risks, and guide budgetary and scheduling decisions
Monitoring and Execution:
- Partner with Production Finance to monitor costs, review cost reports, and ensure budgets are managed effectively while keeping stakeholders informed
- Oversee productions to ensure they meet deadlines, stay within budget, and maintain high creative and technical standards
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal LINE teams, including design, marketing, finance, legal, and Compliance, to establish clear workflows, resolve risks, and ensure seamless communication across projects in order to meet creative and operational goals
Team Leadership
- Lead the production team and mentor content marketing team members to develop future leaders while fostering a culture of trust, resilience, and accountability
- Represent the Product Management team cross-functionally within LINE, advocating for clear communication and alignment on production strategies
Macro and Strategic Oversight
- Maintain a big-picture view of the slate to ensure productions align with LINE's creative and business objectives
- Stay focused on optimizing production workflows by analyzing trends and aligning strategies with industry best practices
Partnership and Business Development
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with strategic partners in industries such as publisher, media, influencer, e-commerce, and entertainment
- Drive complex negotiations and secure mutually beneficial agreements that maximize revenue and user engagement
- Create innovative business models by leveraging LINE Content Business capabilities such as branded content, sponsorship, advertising, content distribution, and co-branded partnerships
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- 8+ years of experience in production management, specializing in online scripted content production
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at different stages of production
- Deep understanding of content production workflows for HD, 4K, single-cam, and multi-cam formats
- Established network of vendors, talent, and production service companies
- Proven track record of managing and mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, and building trust across cross-functional partners
- Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to balance big-picture goals with operational needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
