- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their catering needs, preferences, and expectations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through personalized and attentive service.
- Create customized and detailed catering proposals that showcase the hotel's facilities, services, and culinary offerings.
- Collaborate with the culinary and events teams to tailor proposals to meet client specifications.
- Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and services with clients, ensuring profitability and adherence to hotel policies.
- Prepare and manage contracts, addressing any special requests or considerations outlined by clients.
- Oversee the planning and coordination of catering events, working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create personalized menus and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the planning process, providing updates and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by exceeding expectations at every stage of the catering process.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional materials and strategies for catering services.
- Participate in industry events, networking activities, and promotional initiatives to enhance the hotel's catering visibility.
- Develop and manage catering budgets, ensuring profitability while delivering exceptional service and quality.
- Monitor expenses, negotiate contracts, and implement cost-control measures.
- Uphold the hotel's standards of service quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction in catering operations.
- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Stay informed about catering and event industry trends, competitor offerings, and luxury market preferences.
- Implement innovative ideas to enhance the hotel's positioning as a premier catering venue.
**Talent Profile**
**Qualification**
- Diploma of college or university preferably in Hotel/Hospitality Management
**Work Experience**
- 2 years' experience in similar role in luxury hotels/resorts
**Technical Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal skills with personable character, good at cultivating strong guest relations
- Very good command in spoken and written English
- Knowledge in Property Management System (e.g. OPERA)
- Competent computing skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
