Department Operations

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
- Calculate and summarize transportation billing cost
- Calculate incentive by driver and pay through payroll
- Check input data (billing rule, rate card, changing route, monthly fuel price, etc.)
- Prepare and calculate Penalty/Cancellation/Unused and include in Billing
- Calculate Key vendor level discount and include in Billing
- Review Incentive zoning set as monthly and update the costing model
- Track and reconcile with operation and Subcontractor vendors
- Manage Cost automation and Integrity project as below

**1.PMO Integrity project**
- Always validate the current scheme, document, and maintain filing
- Updated the process mapping flow, identify point of integrity check
- Address and highlight current constraint (What can be checked/What cannot check)
- Develop Costing requirement and work with Ops and to close the Integrity gap

**2.PMO Costing Automation project**
- Coordinate with stakeholders to manage work transformation process for more efficient cost calculation and more accurate cost reporting
- Manage project management timeline, implementation initiatives and prioritization of all finance-related projects
- Oversee transformation from issues-identification phase to implementation, manage to have SOPs (maintain input data master, integrity and PIC to review and sign off input data, scheme change) ready and implement before go-live

**Requirements**:

- Analytical and planning skills
- Project management skills (prioritization, problem identification, data justification, timeline
manage)
- Attention to detail; identify any irregularities in records or transactions that could indicate
fraudulent activity or deviation in operation
- Good coordination skills to align with stakeholders from all levels
- Quick learning with ability to adapt to changing situation and new challenges
- Have a fighting spirit and able to work in a dynamic environment
- Good in Finance Modeling
- Can communicate in English
