Our client carries out the planning, engineering, production and assembly of systems and solutions for the automation of powder and liquids handling in the Asia-Pacific region. support clients and projects in more than 10 countries, including Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating purchase orders from requisitions and bidding requests.
- Conferring with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedules.
- Data entry (SAP-Vendor data and Excel log).
- Obtaining price quotes from multiple suppliers. (SAP - info records).
- Issuing purchase orders to suppliers and confirming delivery dates, quantity ordered and prices are correct.
- Maintaining updated records e.g. procurement records, purchased products, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and stock levels.
- Discussing defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, vendors, and others to determine source of trouble and to take corrective action.
- Expediting the delivery of goods with vendors to meet the expectated time.
- Monitoring stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.

**Qualifications**:

- Aged not over 40.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 Years experience in purchasing industrial items.
- Technical knowledge (will be a plus).
- Knowledge in MRP, ERP purchasing systems (will be a plus).
- Excellent English communication skills.
