What's the role?:
Our Data Acquisition and Communities team helps source some of the data and content that enriches our maps. This team is looking to hire a Data Acquisition & Community Analyst to support our Thailand and South East Asia region.

As a Data Acquisition and Community Analyst, your role will involve representing HERE Technologies and facilitating partnerships with data providers to acquire relevant data in a timely and strategic manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new groups and individuals who are willing to contribute valuable insights and data to HERE, with a focus on a specific geographic area. Through your efforts, you will enhance the value of input received from existing groups and individuals by increasing both the quantity and quality of data.Your main responsibilities include:

- Represent HERE Technologies in negotiations and partnerships with data providers.
- Identify and evaluate potential data sources to acquire relevant data for various projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define data requirements and ensure data quality standards are met.
- Collaborating with internal teams to integrate the acquired data into the map. Ie. Product Management, Planning, Marketing, Procurement, Legal, Sales, Quality, Field Management, Production and Technical teams.
- Executing all required contracts and purchase orders and obtaining datasets.
- Coordinating with other teams to conduct initial supplier data evaluation to ingest data in order to build or enhance HERE's offerings.
- Ensuring commitments are met by monitoring, assessing, and resolving variances in budget, timing, or quality.
- Proactively monitoring supplier competencies and competitive positioning (benchmarking)
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with data providers, ensuring timely data acquisition.
- Build relationships with local governments, suppliers, and crowdsourcing to facilitate data collection and maintenance.
- Conduct analysis and evaluation of community feedback, identifying trends and insights to improve data quality.
- Develop strategies and initiatives to foster collaboration among community partners for data sharing.
- Provide support and guidance to community partners regarding data collection methods and best practices.

Who are you?:
You are a strong fit for this role if you possess the following skills, competencies and work experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in business or any connected field.
- 2+ Years of work experience in procurement or business development
- Proven experience in data acquisition, partnerships, or a similar role.
- Knowledge and/or understanding of Maps and Location-Based services is nice to have though not mandatory.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with data providers.
- Familiarity with community engagement strategies and experience in building and growing communities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to identify opportunities for improvement based on community feedback.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Thai.
- You are result-oriented and able to work with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze data (comfortable with numbers), problem solve, prioritize and organize to achieve stated goals
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and Power point
