Tasks

As the Ecosystem Manager for South East Asia, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence and influence within the region's burgeoning Web3 ecosystem. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including blockchain startups, corporates, developers, investors, and community members. Your mission will be to drive engagement, foster collaboration, and facilitate the growth of the Web3 ecosystem in South East Asia.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive ecosystem engagement strategy tailored to the unique dynamics of the SEA Web3 community.
- Identify and build relationships with promising Web3 startup communities, investors (angels, VC, institutional), business sectors, government, NGOs, and co-working communities in South East Asia.
- Organize and host events, workshops, and meetups to promote knowledge-sharing, networking, and collaboration within the Web3 ecosystem.
- Act as a bridge between local stakeholders and our global Web3 VC network, facilitating partnerships and synergies.
- Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to Web3 startups, helping them navigate challenges and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments in the Web3 space, and share relevant insights with the team.
- Develop and execute scouting activities in SEA for blockchain technology startups and create investment deal flow.
- Collaborate closely with our investment team to evaluate potential investment opportunities and contribute to the due diligence process.
- Contribute to the creation of thought leadership content, including blog posts, reports, and presentations, to showcase our expertise and thought leadership in the Web3 ecosystem.

**Requirements**:

- Fluent in Thai and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Must reside in Bangkok
- Experience in a start-up, consulting, investment banking or VC aplus, but not required
- Proven track record of building and nurturing strong relationships within the tech or startup ecosystem, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Strong Thai and SEA Web3 community network, including connections with startups, developers, investors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Ability to interact with C-Level and to develop strong relationships at all organizational levels.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation and fostering growth in the Web3 space.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel within South East Asia and internationally as needed.
