We are headquartered in Singapore with an active presence in over 10 countries, principally focussing in Asia Pacific and Latin America. Owner-led, we specialise in solar, wind and energy storage projects, from design, planning and financing through to construction and operation.
With rapid expansion plans into South East Asia, we now have an exciting opportunity for a **Business Development Manager** to join an established and proven renewable energy team in a high potential role.
ROLE OVERVIEW: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - THAILAND
Reporting to the Head of Business Development (Asia Pacific), you will support business development activities in Thailand. You will provide support to the Head of Business Development to ensure the growth of Entoria’s business and presence in Thailand.
LOCATION
This role is based in Thailand and may require frequent travels across the country’s provinces or locations where Entoria is developing its business.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, lead generation, prospecting and developing relationships
- Conduct market research to identify potential new markets, customer segments and opportunities for growth
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities and industry developments to inform strategic decisions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, as well as with internal and external stakeholders
- Make sales forecast, growth plans and prepare weekly/monthly information spread for management
- Prepare and present convincing proposals to clients
- Help develop a stable pipeline of new opportunities from inception to close
- Collaborate with and support the teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of agreed initiatives
- Good understanding of Solar system such as PVsyst, capacity sizing, EPC cost etc
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
- Bachelor’s degree level, preferably in Marketing, Business, Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Must be passionate about creating sustainable solutions for companies and understanding the transition process.
- Have good and wide networks in the Renewable Energy sector with EPCs, roof owners, land owner, channel partners etc.
- Good understanding of Solar system, Financial Model, PVsyst etc.
- 3-5 years of Business Development experience in renewable energies in similar roles
- With 2-3 years of experience in Renewable Energy engineering design, site survey etc will be a plus point
- Good network of contacts and relationships in Thailand/SEAsia
- A confident, credible English communicator who can easily build rapport, inspire confidence, and develop long-term relationships with all stakeholder groups (Mandarin and/or any other southeast Asian language is a plus)
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Able to create appealing proposals, sales and marketing documents
- Good understanding of international and local cultures
- IT savvy - with in-depth knowledge of MS Package
