**About the role**:
As a Technical Business Analyst you will serve as the central person to define and configure market ready products for the Modern Banking Platform (MBP). You will assist in creating and maintaining a model bank/launchpad that can be utilised by implementation, sales, and training teams. This role also performs preliminary testing, verifies the product workbook documentation, and provides release updates to key stakeholder teams.

**About the team**:
The Next Gen Banking product management team is global and consists of a dedicated team focused on delivering a modern, componentised core banking platform. They focus on end-to end processes with expertise in deposit and loan processing, customer management, operational reporting, and the banking ecosystem.

**What you will be doing?**
- Configure standard deposit and lending products for international markets including the enterprise components that comprise the platform
- Perform preliminary testing of the platform to ensure the product configuration is correct
- Draft and communicate new features and configuration for each release that can be utilized by stakeholders
- Create documentation supporting configuration use cases specific to region or country
- Create detailed use case documentation, including functional specifications and technical design documents. Ensure workbooks and documentation reflects the product set
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that technical requirements are implemented accurately.
- Manage timelines and deliverables, ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time and within budget.

**What you will need**:

- At least 5 years of banking knowledge with emphasis on core banking products for the New Zealand/Australian market
- Sound experience in a technically focused Business Analyst role/Product Owner role
- Understanding of core banking implementations and implementation processes
- Experience working in large and complex organisations working with enterprise software
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
