Business Analyst

**Main objectives and Summary**
- You will be working within a team performing web and mobile banking developments for HQ company, National Bank of Canada.
- Collaborate with the business lines and support product owners in eliciting business needs, moderating workshops and conducting interviews.
- Support the identification, verification, and documentation of user stories (business, functional and technical) to support the development of technology and business-oriented technology solutions.
- Identify conflicting, inconsistencies, discrepancies and user narratives and work with stakeholders to clarify these inconsistencies and make a decision to resolve
- Collaborate with JAVA developers to determine solutions for each user story
- Facilitate and coordinate the conversations with Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts to ensure a solution option is selected that is aligned with the business needs and overall solution
- Support the QA team and Adoption team by answering questions, reviewing documentation (e.g. test scripts, training materials) and providing context on design decisions
- Identifies and raises risks, issues and constraints faced by teams and makes recommendations to resolve them

**Mandatory**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer related field
- 5 years experiences or more of corporate banking or financial services industry
- Extensive knowledge of solutions especially web and mobile
- Ability to design and implement configurations for different integrations in the bank's ecosystem.
- Functional understanding of data integration and migration principles (legacy and/or APIs)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Agile methodology
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
- Good command of written and spoken English

**Nice to have**:

- Previous experience working with Backbase platform
- Previous experience working with a Western company
- Previous experience working with remote team
- AWS Certifications
