**Technically focused country Claims Advocate driving initiatives and handling complex claims. The role involves working closely with clients and other claims, placing and engineering colleagues throughout the organization. The role demands hands-on active claim management, problem solving, and formulating settlement strategies for clients and negotiation skills. Providing leadership and taking ownership of complex claims is essential to project manage them to a successful conclusion. You will also be assisting and supporting the Broking teams in retaining and the acquisition of new clients by participating in client pitches and tender meetings. You will also liaise and work closely to develop best practice with other claims teams globally. You will be reporting in directly to South Asia Claims Advocacy leader for Claims Solutions.**:
**Main responsibilities**:
- **Understanding of client service requirements and the ability to deliver value**:
- ** Provides coverage and claims strategy guidance to clients on claims in order to assist with claims preparation**:
- ** Work closely with overseas offices and other local and regional colleagues in providing strategic, technical and tactical claims advice**:
- ** Monitors insurer response and engages with insurers and their professional advisers on complex queries and policy coverage discussions in order to support smooth review of claims for clients**:
- ** Drafts communication documents for clients on policy interpretation, claims calculations and documents prepared by the clients in order to support the claims process**:
- ** Interacts closely with individual Client Executives, Claims Advocacy colleagues and Claims Operations colleagues to provide feedback to the team in making the claims process smooth**:
- ** Manage client relationships from a claims perspectives and support the business in winning and retaining clients**:
- ** Develop value proposition strategies and ensure delivery of client service standards always comes first**:
- ** Initiate and promote the innovation of claim offerings to meet clients developing needs**:
- ** Development and implement revenue generation initiatives**:
- ** Provide technical assistance to the claims product leaders and colleagues**:
- ** Raise the profile of claims internally through delivering training, technical publications etc.**:
- ** Foster close relationships between Claims Advocacy, Claims Solutions and claims operations to optimize client experience.**:
**Qualifications**:
- **At least 10 years of experience in Claims Management / Advocacy**:
- ** Detailed knowledge of market claim procedures**:
- ** Strong carrier relationships or the ability to develop these relationships quickly**:
- ** Proven claims management experience in any field**:
- ** Experience and Interest in presenting complex issues to internal and external stakeholders**:
- ** Ability to digest and present information in a friendly format**:
- ** Good communication and negotiation skills**:
- ** Bachelor in Laws**:
- ** Ex loss adjusters are welcome**:
- ** Challenges that incumbent would face**:
**Skills**:
- ** Building a portfolio for Claims Solutions in Asia.**:
- ** Promoting advocacy and forensics in Malaysia**:
- ** KPI in the first 90 days will be working together with country leaders and CE’s in promoting Claims Solutions. Understanding our business model and generating opportunities and revenue for Claims Solutions.**:
