- Department: Sales, Business Development & Strategy- Location: Thailand- Team and Role Introduction- This role involves an extensive engagement with a broad range of government officials and policymakers, academics, partners, industry associations, multilateral and non-governmental organizations to advance the company’s public policy positions and other strategic initiatives and partnership.-
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide strategic policy advice to internal and external stakeholders
- Work with policymakers, academics, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and private sector organizations, including local, regional and international organizations, on various areas
- Represent Lazada in meetings and public events with policymakers and other stakeholders
- Monitor policies, administrative and/or legislative developments, evaluate potential impact of legislative, administrative, and other proposals that may affect Lazada, and recommend solutions
- Assist in the development and management of Lazada's policies on various areas
- Collaborate with individuals and teams across multiple jurisdictions on various projects
- Respond to questions and consultations from external stakeholders on relevant policy issues
- Other assignments as requested by Regional/Local Head of Government Affairs or Country CEO

**Job Requirements**
- At least Bachelor degree in related field: public policy, political sciences, law, public administration, public relations
- At least 3-5 years of demonstrated experience managing public policy and/or government relations and advocacy work
- Experience working and engaging with policymakers, civil society, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders
- Prior experience in fast evolving and dynamic industries such as technology platforms, eCommerce, or financial technology is a plus
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of administrative systems of the Thailand government and its governmental protocols
- Ability to understand business models, strategies, public policy, legislative and regulatory challenges for the eCommerce industry
- Strong project management skills to meet deadlines, establish clear priorities quickly and bring projects to completion on time and within budget
- Strong interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset, with attention to details and accuracy
- Ability to exercise strong judgment and persuasive skills, creativity, and ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Thai
