**Description**

General information: Ensure innovative and cost-effective proposals in alignment with Hitachi Energy standards and targets. Supports pre-sales technical and commercial activities for internal and external customers, in accordance with the APAC HUB strategy. Proactively lead, develop and coach the local Bid & Proposal team. Responsibilities: You will create and implement local sales support strategy, define key targets and ensure these are achieved for the customer support. Oversee the preparation of techno-commercial proposals through internal and external resources, ensure all proposals follow relevant Hitachi Energy procedures and guidelines as well as legal requirements. You will ensure most competitive offers considering the market situation and customer's priorities and conditions, identify optimum approach (e.g. direct sales, consortium, or channel) to be applied to better serve the customer. Oversee the validation of terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, pricing) in each offer. Plan, forecast, evaluate and manage workload to ensure tendering teams are adequately deployed, developed and equipped to meet business need, assign and allocate internal, external resources for technical and commercial support and proposal preparation. Support bid/no bid analyses and decisions, participate and manage the deal risk review processes. Ensure support to the Sales organizations during the technical meetings, product presentations and negotiations with customers and provide technical support and clarification as needed. Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, drive and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration. Lead, drive and hold itself accountable for the highest standards of health, safety and environment to ensure Zero Harm is achieved, responsible for compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensure proactive risk assessments take place and corrective actions monitored/followed up. Build an injury, incident, near miss and hazard reporting culture within the team, guaranteeing reported incidents will be investigated and action taken, create a workplace where everyone views health, safety and environment as the most important non-negotiable value of your business. Your background: Engineering/Trade qualifications - Electrical or equivalent. More than 5 years of experience in Electrical Manufacturing or Power Industry in similar role. Experience across Electrical Industry within Utilities, Power T&D or Power Systems projects, especially in Substation Automation & Communication is an advantage. Advanced computer skills across MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail. Able to work with multiple stakeholders, functions and positions.
