Since day one, we at Cube Asia have aspired to become the most trusted provider of e-commerce market data and insights for Southeast Asia. We believe that putting insights of exceptional quality into the world will serve as the best possible branding and marketing for what we do and who we are.
In this role, you will work independently to lead Cube Asia's e-commerce insights practice, supported by the company's co-founders, its 15+ person strong analyst and data team, and freelance writers and specialists. You will play a key role in defining and building Cube's brand as a distinct and trusted provider of e-commerce.
Your starting audience will include senior leaders and specialist analysts from some of the world's leading consumer brands, institutional investors, and consulting firms. The question is where you will take it next.
**Requirements**:
- Substantial English writing experience, ideally from a B2B setting; very strong written and spoken English skills are also required
- Some knowledge of e-commerce in Southeast Asia is a big plus but not required
- Prior experience from working environments such as management consulting, in-house strategy teams, business journalism, or investment banking is not required but highly relevant to the role
- Intense level of natural curiosity and interest in solving intellectual puzzles with a team of smart and driven people
- Experience interfacing with and presenting to senior leaders (CXOs, Consulting partners, Investment managers, etc.) is also considered a plus
