**️ The Situation**:
We're seeking an experienced technology consultant to lead our Solutions team, manage our consulting engagements, and lead our pre-sales activities. Your responsibilities will include:
**Leading our Solutions team**
- Defining strategy and creating a playbook for the solutions team
- Managing the performance of the solutions team
- Instructing, mentoring, and coaching the solutions team

**Leading consulting engagements**
- Designing and leading consulting engagements
- Crafting technical solutions to address business challenges
- Advising and presenting to C-level customers

**Leading pre-sales activities**
- Support bizdev team in sales meetings, leading technical discussions
- Developing and present technical options tailored to customer needs
- Providing high-level estimates to inform proposals and quotations
- **️ The Challenge**
- This technical role aims to solve business problems, requiring you to effectively straddle two worlds. On one hand, you'll need a solid grasp of enterprise architecture and technology. On the other, you must understand how to communicate with business stakeholders.
- You'll lead a new solutions team of 3 Business Analysts (BA) and 2 Solution Architects (SA). The team currently operates without well-defined processes and procedures. Your first priority will be to introduce the capabilities and practices your team needs to succeed.

While you'll need to align with other teams to ensure we're all moving in the same direction, the rest is entirely up to you.

**A day in the life...**

Start your day at home with a 9AM phone call with a potential new customer, discussing their needs and exploring potential solutions. Next, go on-site with a customer in central Bangkok to run a 1-hour discovery workshop with senior stakeholders for the new loyalty platform. Grab lunch with your project team to discuss next steps. After lunch, meet with one of your team memers for a bi-weekly 1-1 meeting; discuss project work and expectations for next-month performance review and 360 feedback. Finish your dat at home or at the office, working alongside our of MAQE's business development managers to finalize a presentation ahead of tomorrow's pitch meeting involving the design and build of a new B2B marketplace platform.

**The Requirements**:

- 15+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical consulting experience
- 5+ years of experience managing people and teams
- Thai language skills: Professional Working Proficiency or above
- English language skills: Professional Working Proficiency or above
- Certifications such as AWS Solution Architect or similar are a plus
- E-commerce experience is advantageous, especially in retail or insurance
