Head of Retail Vice President

Manage the HQ and Store teams to ensure they are aligned with company goals and objectives.

Identify and develop top talent, providing guidance and mentorship to help team members grow and advance in their careers.
**Retail P&L Accountability**:
Fully accountable for Retail P&L and ensuring revenue targets are met.
Develop mitigation plans when KPI targets are missed, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and improvement actions.
Work closely with the accounting and finance team to create budgets and forecasts, track sales performance, and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement.
**Sales and Commercial Management**:
Responsible for developing and executing effective promotions and campaigns. Drive sales to achieve revenue targets with acceptable discount levels.
Closely monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to optimize product offerings, pricing, and promotions.
Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making related to Retail sales & revenue growth.
**Retail Operations Management**:
Oversee day-to-day retail operations, ensuring all stores operate smoothly, efficiently, and effectively.
Identify areas of improvement and implement processes to enhance the retail and omnichannel shopping experience for Pomelo's customers.
**Retail Property Management and Business Expansion**:
Oversee retail property management, including landlord relationship management, lease contract renewal, and expanding stores as per business direction.
Oversee store maintenance. Ensure all stores are well-maintained and in good working order.
Oversee store renovation plans. Ensure key stores are getting renovated within the timeline and budget. Optimize operations functionality and efficiency, align with the brand's image, and enhance best customer shopping experience.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**:
Marketing and Campaign Collaboration - Collaborate with the Marketing and Campaign teams to drive traffic and conversion rates to all stores effectively.
Visual Merchandise - Work closely with the Retail Marketing & VM team to ensure that the store layout and VM guideline packs are created with good quality and in a timely manner. Ensure that store staff can follow and execute based on the guideline pack and the stores are visually appealing to customers.
Tech - Work closely with the Technology team. Act as business product owner to provide key features improvement e.g. Point of Sales, Inventory Management System, Tap.Try.Buy Module, etc.
Manage Retail Strategic Projects - Work closely with the Strategy team and key stakeholders to implement key projects for Retail. For instance, store resource optimization, staff incentives scheme revamp, store improvement & renovations, strengthen omnichannel service e.g. e-ordering.
Who are we looking for?.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
8+ years of experience in retail management, preferably in fast fashion.
Demonstrated experience managing P&L and achieving revenue and bottom line targets.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing a large team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, as well as C-level and top-level management both internal and external.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on result.
