**The Role**
**(A3-201)**
DDX is recruiting for a Senior Scheduler to coordinate the complex planning and preparation for one of our large scale IoT/Smart City projects in Bangkok.
With global smart city spending set to increase from $1 trillion to $2.5 trillion/year by 2026, this is a unique opportunity to work on one of the largest smart city development and IoT implementations worldwide. With hundreds of thousands of sensors across multiple buildings, you will gain unrivalled insights and knowledge in the buildings of the future.
Is someone who can provide Project Controls expertise (including planning, scheduling and status reporting) in support of project delivery across a large smart city build.
They will also be expected to contribute to the ongoing development of the Project Controls capability within the company (including training and developing others).
**As a Senior Scheduler, here’s what you can do at DDX**
- Programme Management (PM) in development and maintenance of Management Plans (Project, Quality, etc)
- Develop and maintain multi-level Microsoft Project (MSP) schedules in a Project Server environment
- Develop and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure with associated Cost/time codes, Scope definition and Budgets, etc
- Support PM and Project Engineers (PE) in development and monitoring of work packages
- Assist PM/PE to review project/work package status and progress/expedite as required
- Support PM/PE decision-making through analysis of schedule/cost performance
- Liaise with sub-contractors to ensure integration of schedules
- Maintain tracker for contract deliverables/dependencies across workstreams
- Change Control
- Assist with impact analysis of contract/project change
- Coordinate embodiment of change, ensuring appropriate integration into plans and schedules
- Assist PM/PE in preparation/maintenance of resource forward loading/demand
- Monitor resource assignments/supply and highlight issues to PM
- Assist PM/PEs with regular project status and Finance reporting (internal and client-facing reports)
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities developing processes, procedures, tools and techniques for planning, reporting and project controls.
- As required, provide advice and training to Project teams regarding best practice in Planning and Controls
**Here’s what you will bring**
**Essential**
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field
- Experience of 5+ years of scheduling and planning in MS Project, Primavera or similar software
- Able to communicate in Thai & English, with both oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrable knowledge of methods and tools for planning, scheduling and controlling projects (including processes and techniques for Change and Risk Management)
- Proven ability to produce and maintain level 3/4 project schedules including management of deliverables and dependencies between projects
- Skilled in designing schedules to allow effective roll-up to higher levels with reporting of key milestones and critical path analysis
- Demonstrable experience in project reporting and work package management
- Good IT skills covering all Microsoft Office tools, with advanced ability in MS Project and MS Excel for data analysis
- Organised and structured approach with the ability to manage own time effectively while operating across multiple projects and for multiple project managers
- Ability to work on-site in Bangkok with the PMO team
**Desirable**
- Ability to create and maintain complex/integrated schedules in MS Project
- Some experience in use of MSP Server, including use of enterprise custom fields and data analysis
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint for document and data management, ideally with basic administration skills
- Familiarity with management of Systems Engineering and Software Development life-cycles/projects
- Knowledge of (and exposure to) Earned Value Management and other monitoring techniques
- APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ/APMP) or equivalent
