The Public Affairs Manager will be responsible for planning and coordinating related activities, fostering mutually beneficial working relationships with stakeholders, and supporting senior executives in their dealings with government and dairy sector partners so that our interactions are strategic, coordinated and consistent. Key to this role is the ability to represent FrieslandCampina Thailand in various capacities thereby enabling FrieslandCampina Thailand to advocate its interests effectively and thoughtfully. Of equal importance is the ability to collaboratively work with internal stakeholders to ensure that our positions are clear, consistent and well-integrated across the company.

What we ask
- Minimum professional experience 7 years Public affairs/Government affairs role (preferably in FMCG environment)
- Experience with government policy and outreach
- Proactive and able to develop and introduce processes where none exist
- Confident in handling and communicating in complex circumstances
- Understanding of local/regional political dynamics
- Able to work in a multinational environment
- Good presentation and negotiation skills.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely both verbal and in writing with all levels within all business functions.
- Able to work under pressure and business dynamic.
- Good Command of both Thai and English in speaking, reading, and writing.

- The role requires a strategic public affairs professional, in partnership with local key stakeholders. He/she responsible to campaigns positively to shape high level of company image and reputation by developing company public policy, CSR and building structural good relationship with authorities.
- Advocacy and communication
- Keep abreast of and anticipate policy developments to proactively advise management of possible responses and identify opportunities
- Establish and maintain open communication lines with relevant authorities and stakeholders, including industry associations
- Identify and secure opportunities to position the company as an industry thought leader
- Crisis management
- Manage crises and issues in close cooperation with regional/global public affairs team
- Develop annual public affairs plan in alignment with regional/global objectives [and manage annual budget]
- Develop or tailor content for public affairs outreach
- Drive corporate social responsibility strategy aligned with Corporate and BG objectives and local environment
- Provide reports and updates related to politics, government policy, potential business dynamic to regional Corporate Affairs/ PARA team
- PR aspects;
- Representing FCGT in relevant forums
- Execute PR plan to ensure FCGT visibility at National and International level
- Manage media relations
- Oversee internal communication and CSR activities
- Issue handling which impact FCGT reputation
- Create corporate branding for FCGT in Thailand
- Takes on special projects, such as research projects and correspondence, as requested
