Business Development Manager

**Manao Software** is looking for an ambitious, energetic, tech savvy, and English speaking **Business Development Manager** to lead our Business Development team and drive the company's sales growth, business expansion, and partnerships.

**The Location**
The job is at our office in Chiang Mai, one of the most innovative and creative cities in the world and a hotspot for digital nomads. A low cost of living means you can enjoy everything the city has to offer and still have money left over. Remote work is also possible for applicants living in Bangkok.
**Requirements**:
- **Thais or Expats welcome. Business visa and work permit will be provided for qualified expat applicants.**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business related major.
- Minimum 5 years of full-time work experience in business development or B2B sales, preferably in tech industry.
- Excellent communication skills in Thai and English, both written and verbal.
**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Improve the company’s market position and achieve financial growth.
- Monitor competition and improve the company’s competitive edge.
- Evaluate industry trends to identify opportunities in existing markets and new markets.
- Have a good understanding of the company’s people, capabilities, and services.
- Define and plan long-term strategic goals for sales.
- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
- Submit weekly and monthly reports to upper management.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team.
- Find potential new customers and build the sales pipeline.
- Identify customer needs and challenges.
- Work with technical staff to suggest solutions to customers and set prices.
- Give presentations, write proposals, lead meetings, negotiate and close deals.
- Build and maintain good customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Retain and grow business from existing customers.
- Manage, motivate, mentor, and train Business Development team members.
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s sales management system.
