**MAIN PURPOSE**
- The Watch Manager will provide a long-term vision for the product segment with a 360 mindset to reinforce the brand’s positioning in Thailand
- The Watch Manager will develop a long term and sustainable local influence and become the Spokesperson of Watch category.
- Overall, the Watch Manager will ensure that the product strategy supports the Maison’s overall strategy and goals.
- The Watch Manager will identify new opportunities for the Maison, including but not limited to, new communication channels and collaborations.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

STRATEGIC PLANNING, BUDGET, ACTION
- Participate in the definition of the 3-year Strategic Plan together with the Marketing & Communications Director
- Work with the Head of Media & PR & Events to define cohesive action plans for the main strategic focuses
- Lead & execute across all functions in the implementation of Action Plan ensuring alignment from overall strategic and marcom plans
- Elaborate budget to be in line with key projects & overall Company mission

PRODUCT SEGMENT ANALYSIS & MARKET INTELLIGENCE
- Provide comprehensive sales analysis for product segment based on network, collections and clientele
- Propose and implement short term and/or long term action plan according to trend and objective
- Follow market trends, visit competition regularly, update market shares, gather client insights to identify key opportunities for growth
- Conduct price control & analysis on a regular basis and follow-up exchange rate and positioning for all product lines base on spot rate changes. Ensure that prices are kept within acceptable range, if not, proposals to be addressed to management team. Co-ordinate and update on all matters regarding price change - Communicate to company on price changes & HRSM uploads.
- Build on methodology, processes and scope for market research (based on pricing, networks, launch, brand strategy, client insights) for a sustained competitive intelligence and tangible data.
- Share the knowledge of the market intelligence in a timely manner with all relevant departments to realign the strategy.

IN RANGE AND NOVELTIES MANAGEMENT
- Ensure that product launch is successfully executed. Define a detailed product launch roadmap based on Maison’s strategy and to be shared with Marketing & Communications Director on a timely basis (eg: Forecast / Consensus / Delivery of products / Allocation to different networks / Training / CRM initiative / ATL & BLT campaigns / Hot spot visibilities in boutiques).
- Define strategic launches in limited networks & routing of collection if needed
- Work with Communications team to ensure good coverage of novelties for pre-collection pieces
- Adapt HQ product news for local use and inform all departments on launch plan and routing schedules
- Share quarterly sales vs forecast report on tactical launches, and weekly or monthly report for strategic launches
- Gather and consolidate market feedback about new launches and report back to HQ when needed
- Follow ROI on communication plan, editorial, media ,events and training
- Handle all NSO (Special orders)
- Ensure good stocks and representation of products in the boutiques & retailers

LOCAL INFLUENCE
- Co-create with PR Manager a yearly engagement calendar tailored to the local Watch communities
- Co-conduct Watch Trainings (Novelties) with L&D and/or Watch Community Manager

COLLABORATION WITH KEY DEPARTMENTS
- Commercial department to define key targets and KPIs for the boutiques
- Boutique Managers to evaluate category performance on a topline view
- Communication team to share the long-term vision/strategic planning of the product category, for a cohesive 360 Marketing, Communication & Client plan
- Client & CRM departments with CRM and Edm plans
- Manage key partnerships, develop additional initiatives to deepen engagement and grow contribution to overall objectives.
- Explore new opportunities to push out product line with E-com manager to ensure development of this distribution channel
- Work with Communication team to define events objectives, yearly media plan, to ensure maximum exposure of new product launches and that stocks are in place with each campaign
- Work with Watch Specialist teams / Wholesale department to manage fulfillment of stocks and overall watch strategy
- Work with HJ team to achieve High End watch sales.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Min. 5 years’ experience category management in Thailand is a must
