To be Responsible for working with the local A&H manager and regional Portfolio Manager with respect to the positioning and oversight of the A&H portfolio cross all channels.
- To monitor portfolio profitability performance, oversee the development of rating plans, execution of rate and segmentation reviews, using GLM techniques where possible, and identify market segment opportunities as part of the review process.
- To Ensure accuracy of quoting and rating systems, working with Actuarial team to ensure best practices are followed including appropriate risk loads for catastrophic risk, commissions, expenses and profit loadings, reviewing regional Actuarial assumptions and ensuring that peer review process is applied consistently.
- To Promote the development and production premium adequacy reports and provide budget loss ratio estimates for various segments.
- To Collaborate with Claims, Finance, Underwriting functions, and Data Analytics and Analysis function to ensure data used for pricing and monitoring is complete, accurate, adequate and timely.
- To Comply with key regulatory and risk management procedures as well as audit requirements.
- To Work closely with product managers and underwriters to support business decisions to support profitable business growth.
