Responsibilities: Day to day, it looks like: - Work closely with Design, Business and Technical team to incorporate digital experience and user insights at scale - Collaborate with project team and business channel across the company to identify business objectives and requirements - Develop research plan with clear objectives & measurements, prepare interview guideline, conduct the interview session, summarize key findings and insights, and provide recommendations based on insights - Effectively communicate accessibility findings, priorities, and design rationale in written form as well as verbally and visually to gain alignment and move the work forward. - Help shape the UX and Research culture at MTL that will ultimately impact the experience our customers have - Develop creative and innovative accessibility solutions that adhere to organization and industry guidelines
Qualifications: To be experience researcher/designer at MTL, you must have a track record of: - 5+ years working experience in related areas. Experience in both interaction and research is preferred. - Background in human-computer interaction, human centric design, visual communication, or education-related design disciplines will be desirable. - Align customer needs and business goals to execute design holistic thinking processes and methods. - Having international work experience is a plus. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to present well and explain user insights and design solutions to cross-functional teams. - Experience in service design thinking and omni-channel is an added plus. - Ability to perform all research-related tasks including research, planning, analyzing, communicating research and iteration - Knowledge of Assistive Technologies on desktop and mobile platforms
