Technician.maintenance.iii (Songkhla, Thailand)

Reed Hycalog are looking for Drill Bit Repair Operators to work at our new repair facility in Songkhla in Thailand:
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assembling components to engineering drawings and set procedures
- Good knowledge and practical skills in various torch brazing and hardfacing processes
- A comprehensive understanding of the use oxy/acetylene equipment and processes
- Use of handheld grinding tools
- Inspect parts according to frequency specified and report any non-conformances and be knowledgeable in using standard measuring instruments and inspection techniques
- Be fully aware of personal workload, prioritize and organize to ensure deadlines are achieved
- Ensure a high standard of professionalism is maintained and that customer care is foremost
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area and department
- Ensure personal compliance with all HSE legislation and HSE Company policy
- Contribute to the development of systems and improvement in working practices and processes
- Be fully familiar and conversant with department and company policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are always in full compliance
- Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager
**Skills & Experience Required**
- Technical diploma Certificate in metal fabrication or welding processes is desirable
- Previous welding experience in a light/heavy fabrication environment would be advantageous
- Ability to use a Fanuc CNC control preferable although not essential
- You should be able to demonstrate your ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and schematics as well as production shop practices and procedures
- You should also be a good team player with the ability to work under your own initiative
