Financial Reporting
- Full accountability for delivery and integrity of PepsiCo’s reporting submissions under USGAAP and compliance with corporate policies and procedures
- Support planning in ensuring management understand the state of the business
- Balance sheet ownership - drive reviews, reconciliation process and corrective action monitoring of MU’s
- Preparation and submission of statutory accounts
- Tax computation and return preparation for all local taxes, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations

Business Insights
- Support delivery of BU’s cash flow targets by providing timely direct method forecasts as well as identifying the right WC initiatives
- Provide relevant and timely analysis of business performance to allow course correction
- Undertake appropriate assessment of financial risks to plan and provide solutions (eg. Tax changes, pension gaps, etc)
- Partner the planning team on forecasts, AOP, etc
- Identify and implement business efficiency initiatives including cross functional / BU synergies

Internal Controls & Asset Stewardship
- Ensure integrity of all source and consolidated accounting systems (AR, AP, Purchasing, GL, Assets, HFM)
- Assess regularly the integrity of all financial processes in supporting financial data preparation and assets safeguarding
- Ensure asset safeguarding via physical counts
- Co-ordinate BU/MU internal and external audit work and overall rating achieved
- Ensure timely implementation of external / internal audit recommendations
- Partner with the business to drive Corporate Governance (eg. Code of Conduct, GCS, etc)
- Attend/lead Audit Committee meetings

Business Leadership
- Awareness / compliance to local legislative commercial competition guidelines
- Significant input to major systems initiatives
- Full input to acquisition / investment and capex opportunities
- Effective business partnership to enable growth

People Management
- Build development plans for all, identifying “key talent”
- Provide clear communication of goals across control group and develop coaching & diversity capability and awareness within the team
- Ensure key financial control fundamentals are understood across the whole of finance and across the senior management group

Qualifications:

- 10 + years of accounting / finance experience
- Work in a large scale international company
- USGAAP financial reporting expertise
- Local & foreign tax compliance knowledge
- Audit experience (Big 4 or internal)
- Accounting degree with CA/CPA
- SAP experience
- Proven internal controls experience
- ERM experience
- Proven team leadership of diverse and remote teams
- Seasoned controller with knowledge around key operating processes
- Experience in the preparation of Financial Statement per US GAAP, and as per local statutory requirement
- Business partnering in providing tax & risk management consultation to work effectively with cross functions.
- Strong communication and people skills, able to influence senior levels and work with across functions.
- Ability to focus on multiple priorities and work under pressure.
