Advanced Demand Manager

As part of the Infrastructure & Security Department, the Demand Manager is the pivotal point between IT Infrastructure and Business organization and is responsible for understanding, anticipating and influencing customer demand for services. The Demand Manager works with capacity management to ensure availability of sufficient capacity to meet the required demand. The IT Demand Manager is capable of capturing the business requirements within the IT Service catalogue and adjusts this where required. Capturing the business requirements is done with team managers in Infrastructure pillar, the OE and applicable service owners.
**You will**
- Facilitates information gathering, document preparation, quotations, prioritization and securing of technical resources for the project (and/or run service) requests.
- Facilitates the estimation and funding of activities related to business requests
- Provides timely communication and assistance with business requests
- Ensures work is authorized by leadership
- Establishes good working relationships with customers and technical departments
- Define knowledge, skillset and experience gaps of technical team for service offering
- Proactively manages expectations and communicates risks with all initiated work to all involved parties
- Assists in budget related, demand funnel and pre-project planning discussions
- Assists the organization with implementing a statistical forecasting. Visuals demands vs. capacity to enable project prioritization and resource planning
- Understanding of Regional and Local IT Infra Projects
- Understanding and management of Customer Complaints and KPIs, NPS (Net Promotor Score)
- Manage the quarterly IT Demand Management process for Global IT/IM on (to be) provided IT services.
- Collaborate to Regional IT Infra service review meetings
- Organize Customer Meetings on sites or via video conference meetings and deliver feedbacks and track and trace open actions.
- Attend regular IT Demand team meetings (regionally) for knowledge sharing and cross site alignment
**Your skills**
- Graduate in Computer Science/IT/ Business or related field
- ITIL V4 Foundation Certificate [a plus]
- At least 8 years’ overall IT experience and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in project management and pre-sales field
- Proven track record of successful delivery of complex IT Infrastructure implementation, integration or migration projects
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
- Strong planning ability & able to work on own initiative
- Customers centric behaviour (key users, management) must be evident from previous experience
- Able to build trustworthy relationship with stakeholders
- Experience with acting between business & IT service organization, being persuasive when required
- Drive for excellence in operations/execution instead of process manager/consultant
- Able to manage client expectations
- Preferably Insurance industry experience
- Full professional proficiency in English
- PMP is a plus
- Working knowledge in ITIL Managing professional is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal, oral, and written in English
